Earlier this month Rihanna announced she was launching a skincare line. We got the chance to try some of the cool new products before launch and thought we’d share our initial impressions.
Packaging
Let’s talk about the packaging for a minute… The pastel purple hue is stunning, with a minimalist design that’s extremely functional, this will definitely have a place on our #shelfie.
Both the cleanser and toner have similar twist top caps with a satisfying *click* to open/close. The moisturizer comes in two components — one refillable cartridge containing the formula and a base. We love the idea of having a refillable product and think Fenty Skin did an amazing job with the packaging design.
Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser ($25 USD for 145 mL)

Let’s move on to the first step in this routine, the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser.
This is a nice and thick creamy foaming cleanser that produces a great lather. It didn’t leave our skin feeling tight afterward & did a pretty good job at removing makeup & SPF.
It does have a fragrance similar to vanilla cake & cherry but it’s definitely not overpowering.

Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum ($28 USD for 150 mL)
Texture: Viscous & Gel-like
Color: Light Pink
Fragrance: Very light/clean
The toner was our favorite by far. The Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum has a unique thick bouncy gel consistency and can easily be applied with your hands so you can skip cotton pads altogether.
We love that it gives an extra boost of moisture to the skin without weighing it down and that Niacinamide is at the top of the ingredients list. Niacinamide is a great ingredient to help reduce inflammation and can help regulate oil production.

Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturiser Broad Spectrum SPF Sunscreen ($35 USD for 50 mL)

Color: Light Pink
Fragrance: Cherry
The third step is the Hydra Vizor Moisturizer with SPF which is a chemical sunscreen. This formula spreads incredibly well and doesn’t leave any oiliness or white cast on your face like traditional sunscreens. 
It provides a dewy finish and has a strong cherry scent that quickly dissipates on application. We love that this is a 2-in-1 step as it does a great job of hydrating & doesn't feel like sunscreen. Thanks to the humectant ingredients inside the formula like glycerin and hyaluronic acid, the skin is left plump & hydrated.
